Carp said this yesterday: " My hr's are a mystery to me, I'm not trying to hit them. I was in a slump early on and made some adjustments to hit line drives. Something I did (don't know which one it was) gave me a swing that is causing the long balls. That's all I know for now, but the results are very interesting".

Pretty interesting.

Maybe it's just the salsa!

Whatever changes he's made are certainly working....

Last night's game with Washington was the best ball game I've seen in awhile.
Carp hit his 33rd. homer (3 run job) to put Cards up 6-3.
Nats tied it up in top of 9th.-- then DeJong hit walk off homer to win the game in bottom 9th.
Matt C. is having a great year and TCU gets mentioned a lot-- hope he keeps on tatering.

Carp is such a great ambassidor for TCU! So proud of him. Anything we can do to celebrate him we should. He’s no doubt the leading candidate for mvp!
