You took the Knox Henderson exit off central expressway and it was on, I guess McKinney. Seems like it was near the old Highland Park cafeteria. It moved to Preston Center then finally to Lemmon. Always great, mainly due to their sauce, although they put a lot of topping (including cheese) on a thin crust pizza. The oddest thing was they cut the pizza into squares/rectangles Still tasted great!

Hot honey on pizza is awesome when you pair it with a meat(s) like pepperoni, soppressata, prosciutto, or salami
Putting honey on a pizza is akin to putting bacon/ground pork/cream in a faux Carbonara. Crispy Guanciale is the standard but certainly no dairy product other than pecorino in a proper Carbonara is the original standard. While honey is not normal on pizza with a good crust, that does not mean it can't be good. It does seem eerily similar to Pineapple with actual Canadian or prochute.
At Maple Branch Brewery there in Fort Worth, they serve a great pizza with delicious goat cheese, hot honey, and delicately sliced ham. Oh, and they have some danged good beers, too!
If your pizza doesn't have meat on it...or if it has any kind of fruit (with the exception of tomatoes)...you might want to check to see if you are missing a Y chromosome.
