Stanford has backed out of their return game to TCU in '27. North Texas will take their place.
Our ADs are awesomeStanford has backed out of their return game to TCU in '27. North Texas will take their place.
We already play Oklahoma OOC in 2027. Seems like ACC and SEC schools are moving away from playing two P4 OOC games with the shift to the 9-game conference game schedule. No clue what our plan is. But SMU has availability in 2027.
Pretty easy solution: do not reup your season tickets. Go to the games you want. Enjoy what you can.Home games the next two seasons: Gambling, Arkansas State, WVU, Kansas, Kansas State, Utah, North Texas, Sam Houston, Arizona State, Tech, Baylor, and Houston. Feel the excitement. It's definitely worth double what they were charging when we had Texas, OU, and SMU on the schedule.
I doubt it. They could not sell out their stadium last year when they had a great team. Now, all of those coaches and players are gone and they are a shadow of that successful team. I bet they won't bring 1,000 fans.At least University of North Texas might actually show up to fill some their visitor's section. Stanford doesn't even go to their own games. And the Mean Green are a comparable program these days to Stanford.
When have we not gotten hosed? Genuinely asking. Seems 100% of the time it’s this scenario.I feel like we get hosed in these situations more often than not. Pathetic.
I like playing University of North Texas more than some of the other teams we bring in for a beat down, but not in exchange for a P4 opponent.
I thought you guys owned TCU and weren’t afraid to play us?We already play Oklahoma OOC in 2027. Seems like ACC and SEC schools are moving away from playing two P4 OOC games with the shift to the 9-game conference game schedule.
You guys were the ones who "paused" the series, so we decided we'll just play Notre Dame, Oklahoma, and LSU instead!I thought you guys owned TCU and weren’t afraid to play us?
