Does anyone remember those light battleship gray pants our players wore in the 1950s, or am I dreaming?
I have it on good authority that football didn’t start until 2011. You must be confusing this with another sport.Does anyone remember those light battleship gray pants our players wore in the 1950s, or am I dreaming?

Don't know if you know it, but that was Sports Illustrated's Photo of the Century for the 1900s. There was a great article written about that picture that gives a back story of many of the people in the photo. I think it was taken at halftime when TCU played Jim Brown and Syracuse in the Cotton Bowl. The article will give you sports tears. That top one is one of my all time favorite TCU pictures.
