UNC says Bill Belichick’s girlfriend still welcome at team facilities after conflicting reports

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Former Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is set to begin a new chapter in his legendary football career when he officially takes the helm at the University of North Carolina, with their season opener against Texas Christian University slated for Sept. 1.
However, Belichick’s early days in Chapel Hill have already attracted significant off-field attention — particularly surrounding his 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, as reports surfaced on Friday morning claiming that she had been banned from UNC football facilities.
“While Jordon Hudson is not an employee at the University or Carolina Athletics, she is welcome to the Carolina Football facilities. Jordon will continue to manage all activities related to Coach Belichick’s personal brand outside of his responsibilities for Carolina Football and the University,” the University said in a statement.
The journalist who first broke the story that Hudson had been barred, Pablo Torre, insisted that credible sources had informed him of the initial decision, saying that he had received information “from the highest levels of the football program.”
