a few interesting things when you review the roster on gofrogs.com

http://www.gofrogs.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/tcu-m-footbl-mtt.html

demauryon holmes is the only player who doesn't have a listed position, most of the young db's are listed purely as db and that includes someone like vongor who is a sam carter starter kit at safey.

wallow is now listed as a lb, l.j. collier is listed as a de, and derius davis is listed as a wr.

ridwan, omar, and fabian are all still listed on the roster. fabian is the only player on the roster without a number

  • Fabian no longer on the roster (JUCO) and Flowers added (#13).
At WR watch for Al'dontre Davis and NiJeel Meeking
Walk-on LB Connor Koch and coach's son on STs.
Will this be the year that the TE returns to the O?

Why wouldn’t we maybe run Sewo as an option out of the TE position?

He’s huge, has great hands, is good in the open field, and can lay a hit when a key block is needed.

Granted, we really haven’t played a TE heavy formation, but OU repeatedly smoked us with their TE last year.

There's nothing special about the TE position. If you have a really good player then you can utilize him. Andrews smoked us because he was really good. Not because he was a TE.

Sewo is a RB and has pretty high potential at that position. There's no reason to waste any practice time with him at TE just for the sake of utilizing a TE. If the coaches want to use his pass catching or blocking skills then they can do it (and have done it in the past) from his current position.
