Tyus Bowser

[FeistyFrog]

TJT DE committed to OkieSt 4 days ago and has already decommitted. No TCU offer but had heavy interest from the frogs.

Tyus Bowser 6-3/225/4.6 Tyler, TX (John Tyler) 24 sacks in 2012 along with 83 tackles. Wants to have an option to play basketball.

He might have a better chance of making the basketball squad at TCU than he would at O-State.

[SnoSki]

Wonder if we offer

Wonder if we offer

6'3" 225, 4.6?

I know it's been sarcastically stated about other guys, but seriously, could he play linebacker?

I have seen him play DL with hand down, DL with hand up, receiver in 7X7, and quarterback. This guy is an unbelievable raw athlete. At 6'3" 225 he is still skinny. And he is fast. In 7X7 he couldn't be covered. He is a perfect TCU recruit for the staff to develop into a major D1 player.

I agree froggle, sounds like a LB to me.

[Lone Frog]

Go get him.

[Black-it-out-Frog!]

QB? If he had an arm on him that would be awesome with that size!

Looks like one too.

[TCURiggs]

I'm sold just by his name

[jake102]

Sold.

He can start at LB next year and PG/SG once football season is over.

[Rolex]

Early look alike?

[BillupsFrog]

I was thinking the same thing Rolex!

[tcuhf93]

24 sacks. Is that right?

If so, it would be a sin to move him off of the edge.

Yeah, that was the number that stuck out to me too. That's insane.

[talor]

He's either a DE in a 4-3 or an OLB in a 3-4 who rushes the passer. I don't think hes an LB at TCU, but I'd like for him to get an offer...he just seems like a great athlete.

[BigPurple87]

Sounds like an awesome athlete. Doubt he will play DE in college without adding about 20lbs.

Wowzer Bowser! Go go gadget!

Are you aware of any effective D1 DEs at 225 lbs?
