where would you rather get hurt? In the minor leagues a few years in with no degree or in college? both suck.....going back to school is not "college" by the way...it's taking classes....and "college" at a place like TCU is, as they say, priceless.

How about getting hurt in the minor leagues with $750K and 4 years of free school in your back pocket vs getting hurt in college and not having your scholarship renewed?

He hopefully stays in school and receives a college degree. No flies on that my friend.

Hopefully. Often not the case.

Totally agree. I don't understand the other posters on the other side of this argument.

When it comes to baseball, my faith is in FD!!

Don't feel too bad, LSU lost their soon to be 3rd team QB and weekend starter in baseball, Zac Lee (McKinney) in the last 5 minutes for over 3.5. If that wasn't enough, Renaudo went about 1 minute later for 2.55.

Actually, I just read Lee went for between 5-6 mil.

He was either going to be one or the other IMO. Trying to do both would not have worked. Maybe for a position player like Huffman and maybe for a non QB like the kid LSU had recently (name escapes me), but not for a QB that is also a pitcher.

Yep, thanks.

He was seriously injured in a car crash about a month ago. Was a 3rd round NFL draft pick in April.

Read that Chad Jones has since been waived by the Giants.
