Two evident truths so far this season

I've been a Horned Frog since the fifties...yes, that 50s. I went there (for a short time, finished on active duty), have my mom, my older sister, my dad (for a semester) my niece (an evil Lawyer), and etc. - all loyal Froggies, mostly deceased but still watching!

We all wish for a new OC, that picks his own staff and has relative anonymity.

Pretty easy, but not.

I worry that the "different direction" we might go in was seen in those years between 1970 and 1990. Maybe you don't remember them.

I went in the 60's. I figured recently that my entire cost including room and board for 4 years was around 10K.

I do not because I had zero interest in TCU at that time.

Part of what got us into that mess and kept us there so long was that there seemed to be a willingness to just ride the conferences coattails. As long as the crowds were decent noone cared that it was half the other team. IMHO that attitude has resurfaced to some degree.

Other teams know how bad our team has been the last few years, and can see on film we haven't gotten any better overall. To lose to us is bad at this point. If we could ever get out of our own way and make significant changes, it wouldn't be considered a bad loss in their eyes.

All 3 of those coaches are definitely on the hot seat......
