Turner named a Doak Walker Award candidate

TCU tailback Joseph Turner has been named by the Guaranty Bank SMU Forum as an official candidate for the 2008 Doak Walker Award, presented annually to the nation's top collegiate running back. A junior from Austin, Texas, Turner was selected by his teammates as TCU's Offensive Most Valuable Player last season.
