It is freezing cold and rains all the time in Eugene. Everyone I've spoken to who has lived there hated it. No joke.

Oregon has truly gone national in recruiting. They have offers out from New York to Hawaii. They're working Texas, Florida, and of course California hard.

There offense, while it might be a quick, quirky one, it's a gimmick offense kind of like Leach's air raid offense. Meaning, once a defensive minded coach like Patterson analyze's them and then beats them on the field and exposes them......then they will go by the wayside.

Yeah, but its not 104 in the shade in July. If you are a wus, its a great place to have 2 a days. On the other hand, if you are a man and like to play smash mouth, stay at TCU.

Love TCU and would root for them against the Ducks, but you missed on this. Eugene gets cloudy about 70% of the time from Nov. to April with light to moderate rain. It almost never snows and there is little wind. May to Oct. is usually great.
Lived in FW for 7 years and weather is better about 50% of the time than in Eugene. Too hot for 3 months, thunderstorms, blue northers, ice storms etc. FW is great! Mom and 2 sisters still live there - visit all the time, but saying Eugene is like North Dakota is nuts.

Just saying what I've been told many times. I know 5 people who have lived in Eugene, OR. It's a small sample. But all say the same thing.

He was playing a joke last night and I'll admit he got me, but also several other recruits before saying he was kidding. He originally said something to the effect: TCU or Oregon what to decide?
