Reminds me of the Charles Barkley quote. "I always tell kids getting recruited to make sure you go where you can play because if you're sitting on the bench all the time college will suck for you". Only due to injury. He had actually been demoted to third string before the season began but the new coach decided to just throw him in when Bowman got injured.

Guess Duffy figured Bowman would win the job back next year.
