Crazy guy, but had the good sense to go thank his coach and team for taking a chance on him. Incredibly sad story.
I don't think they should play their game tomorrow. If I witnessed one of my players commit suicide a few feet in front of me, I'd be done for the year I think.

My take on it pulled from my FB post on the subject:
I'm sorry, I'm getting a bit tired about hearing about how the team and team-mates of Javon Belcher are going to have a hard time coping and about how great a guy he was. I understand that his friends on the team are going to be grieving and whatnot, but seeing them talk about how good of a man her was...he shot and killed his girlfirend in front of his mother and with his young child ( <1 ) in the room. Stop talking about how good a man he was, I'm sorry, his last acts were anything but good. Cowardly is more my take on it.

That is tough that they have to play. I feel so bad for their 3 month now orphan daughter. Hope they find her a good place to grow up.

I really hope that is tongue in cheek because he showed absolutely no good sense at any level. If he wanted to thank his coach, he could have not shot himself in front of him.

freakin psycho. Might have had something to do with the little girl. Perhaps the girlfriend (from Dallas) was theeatening to leave and take the child. His mother knows since was living there and considered the woman a daughter to her.
