I have no idea if they're acc bound or not. They look like they should be able to be competitve here at the very least, even in non-sugar bowl years.

Well, as you can see with us and Boise, doesn't really matter if you accepted a bid. Now, if they are subject to that massive exit fee like the current ACC members, then that is a different story.

The b12 will continue to have a plethora of 7-5 teams each year as long as we have 10 programs in round robin format. We need 12+. Just as the pac-12 or SEC. Add more teams and do a 9-game schedule.

This makes no sense. Or are you suggesting we add a couple of really weak teams to the league so we are guaranteed to go 9-3 instead of 7-5?

You're still going to have to play at least 9 big 12 teams each year, whether 10 or 12 team league.
If we add Louie/FSU/Clemson/Cinci/GT/other quality team .... how does that change the 7-5s. For close to a year, Louie begged us to take them.... nothing wrong with a bunch of 7-5s, as long as we're 9-3.

Cheers !

Precisely. How many times have you heard that the Big 12 is the 3rd or 4th best conference this year because 5 teams went 7-5?

The Pac 12 wised up to this when they added Colorado. Or do you really believe that people in Denver/Boulder give 2 craps about college football?

Heck, A&M was the beneficiary of this in 2012 as well -- in fact every highly-ranked SEC team is. If every team had to play a full round-robin slate then there would be many more teams with worse records.

In the regular season,
A&M didn't have to play: 12-2 Georgia, 11-2 South Carolina, 9-4 Vandy
Bama didn't have to play: 12-2 Georgia, 11-1 Florida, 11-2 South Carolina, 9-4 Vandy
Florida didn't have to play: 12-1 Alabama, 10-3 LSU
Georgia didn't have to play: 12-1 Alabama, 10-2 A&M, 10-3 LSU

They have a $50 mill buyout unless Maryland can beat it in court. Until then, big XII does nothing.

When are people going to catch on that NOTHING further is going to happen until this is settled? And that's not just the Big 12. Thats any further B10 or SEC moves as well.

What an absolute garbage comment. Check out Bridgewater's stats his first year of starting. Pretty dang comparable to TB (who happens to be a 19 year old kid, you [[big steaming pile]]).

Will take Pachall over Boykin 100 times out of 100. He is far more developed and TB's arm is absolutely no comparison to CP's arm. We have a stable of RBs who can tote the ball. We have one of the more talented WR corps in the country, they need to get the ball and CP is far more developed to get the ball in their hands.
