Beer in a box....haven't tried it

You should; it's classy like wine in a box.

My take on the prices. If the prices were lower (in the range of normal home games), I'd be buying tickets for lots of friends and family to come to town for this big event. My friends who go to all the home games would likely do the same. I'd expect to have around 16 to 20 people.

At the current listed prices, I'll be going with the people I always go with, but won't be buying tickets for my casual football fans that I've been trying to get hooked on Horned Frog Football. There will probably only be three or four of us total.

I've had several people at work ask me about getting tickets to see this. They are interested until I tell them the price, than they say they'll watch it on TV.

Couldn't have said it any better myself.

Countdown to gdu bragging about how much he can afford to pay in 3,2,1....

I wish they wwere cheaper so I could take a lot more friends. If I had known they were gonna be $150 each, I wouldn't have invited as many people as I already did. Still a bargain compared to what I pay for the other tickets I have, especailly considering that that team doesn't play anybody as good as Oregon State at home next season.

Not sure why you thought I would brag about how much I could pay. I think the tickets are too much. I think we would have more people if they were cheaper (though not as many as most here seem to think). We wouldn't come close to selling it out even if tickets were only $1. It doesn't matter how much or little I make or how much of little TCU tickets are. I would buy them regardless. Aside from family, TCU football is my number 1 priority. If I had a job that I couldn't get off of to go to games (incl. bowls), I would quit.

Can't believe you think there is a point to be made from those 2 statements.

I can't believe you can't see the point to be made from those two statements. On second thought, yes I can.

Not sure what the big deal is. I would pay more than most to go to TCU games regardless of how much I make. For most people here that would be a good thing. Not for me though. Stuff like that is exactly why I don't care what people here think about me.

If you are smart you will be able to get a $150 good seat for much much less than that, just sayin

Ok, I'm not smart. I have no clue. I checked stubhub and they were much higher than $150.

How would I get a good seat for less???

buy from TCU. $150 for the 100-200 level seats (between the goal lines I am told). Even less for 300 or 400 level seats.
