Remember when the swc broke up and houston went to cusa and blackballed us? They still in cusa aka aac.

But we did get into CUSA later after the WAC and competed against Houston and won all 3 games...even beating Briles on his home turf, although it was a bloody battle that we won 62-55...an omen, I guess, for the future....

Had time to look it up. Louisville, Cincy and USF were three of the top teams in CUSA at the time and all three gave notice of going to the BE before TCU agreed to leave for the MWC.

SWC - completely broke up, TCU left behind
WAC - top half left to form MWC, TCU left behind
CUSA - top 3 teams left for BE leaving behind a weaker conference, leaving TCU behind
MWC - TCU (and Utah) left first to Big 12
