This is insane

…JD needs to step up and build one on Goat Hills! https://magazine.tcu.edu/spring-2009/before-a-part-of-campus-there-was-goat-hills/

still supposed to open in spring 2025, last I heard. @FrogBall09, have you heard different?
as of last november.
that would be pretty cool as it would be located on a course. Bama has a 9 hole course at theirs. The one at Baylor is a driving range and, I think, they have a hole or two laid out on it. (simulated holes).
Don't know if baylor plans to buy anymore of that land around it, but one would think they would consider it and put in a 9 hole. Bama's right next to campus and they had the room to build something on that land. Typical Bama, they place is amazing.

There are probably some new people to the “golf” topics on here, but top-notch golf facilities have been a thing for nearly two decades now. So this Vandy facility is nothing new.

It just so happens that TCU has been the exception to the rule, not the Vandy’s of the world. TCU fell way behind the rest of NCAA golf without a dedicated practice facility or golf course.

The new Colonial facility will certainly help, not only by attracting recruits, but by giving the players convenient access to practice just about any time they want.

where would they put the facility? is that what they are building next to the clubhouse area where they dug the big hole?

I think one at Ridglea would be just as cool and workable. But I'm old and like that neighborhood.

Does bailure have any leftover land after putting a walk-bridge into their Alumni center?
