TCU is the talk of the town after decimating UNC in Bill Belichick's college debut. In front of tons of Tar Heel fans, some famous ones included, TCU scored the most points any Belichick team has ever yielded in the entire history of his coaching career.

It prompted Joel Klatt to praise TCU, saying that they were one of the best teams that UNC was going to play this season and they showcased that on Monday night.

"TCU, they're a pretty damn good football team. Sneaky contender in the Big 12, Josh Hoover was terrific on Monday night. He's one of the better quarterbacks in that league. I think as a whole, the Big 12 probably has the best quarterback play of any league in college football."

This. Back in 2022 he was supposedly every TCU fan's favorite guy for all the "love" he gave us. I don't really give a crap one way or another what these guys say about us as long as they are reasonably fair, but I hear his radio show quite often and he is about as big brand driven as they come. If any of you are looking for a friend of the little guy, he is more of a wolf in sheep's clothing.

And while he technically might be a pretty good TV analyst, personally I think the guy comes across as pompous as hell (I know, you're probably thinking pot meet kettle, lol). Herbstreit is WAY better IMO.

Sporting News has always been pro T. C. U. Goes back to Sam Baugh. Talked to one of their writers back in the 1990s. He was in Snyder Tx. attending a wedding that I officiated.
