High scoring game.
SMU‘s D is giving up 427 yds per game & 2 of their 3 opponents are FCS.
Plus Jennings’ ankle injury that occurred against BU hasn’t fully healed, so he may not be all that mobile. Last game Jennings only had 4 rushes for -11 yds vs. Mo. St.
TCU 45-31
Barnes didn’t practice again, so I’m thinking he’ll probably rest up for conference play, but still hopeful.
Battle looks improved, and next to Barnes, he’s probably the best pass blocker. Battle and Payne will likely get a majority of the snaps.
SMU may double up Dwyer, so this could be the game that EM gets involved early and often.

I haven't seen anyone outside of Vegas and Frog fans predict a TCU win by 7 or more. I think we're in good company.

Not sure if you bet on CFB, some do & some don’t. I dabble a little and occasionally listen to these guys for some indicators. They believe TCU is a 2 score winner.
They also provide some pretty good nuggets too.

I don't. Mostly because I have a bad habit of picking with my heart. I didn't think I could stand having money riding on TCU. It's stressful enough as it is, and I would never bet against us because I don't want a reason to be happy if we do poorly.
The trust question these guys point to is big for me here. Jennings is a baller but he's turnover prone at times. Hoover isn't at this point. Jennings is carrying a knock and may not be able to scramble as effectively, and if he tries to chase the game by forcing it down field he's going to score some TDs and throw some INTs.

Someone will. If he takes UCLA he's feeling very good about his abilities. I won't be surprised if he calls Sonny and is told to be careful about accepting that job. UCLA is just Cal with a bit more money. No one there cares about football, and they're unlikely to start any time soon. Lashlee, I regret to admit, can do better. He's a good coach.
