Waiting to hear what kind of RPI hit the Frogs took today.

Funny thing is the online scorekeeper stopped in the 8th so the Frogs game doesn’t appear complete but this is what will happen…lose 48 RPI points and fall from 25 to about 31-32 while other games shake out.

Frogs have out hit OU, 7-6, yet they are losing 11-4.

That’ll happen when you give double digit free passes in the first two innings!

I find it strange that TCU, a team that lives to take pitches and draw walks, only drew three walks.

Teams have learned that they don’t necessarily have to throw good/great pitches as long as the throw strikes against the Frogs.

I was at the game and the home plate umpire really seemed to squeeze the zone on the TCU pitchers.
In the third inning, OU should have scored one run, Perez just couldn't get over two pitches that appeared to be strikes and just lost his control after that.

Frogs have become the Big 12's nightmare in terms of effect on rankings. Keep winning in-conference and losing OOC and pretty soon the profile looks Horizon or Missouri Valley-ish. Somebody's going to lose a bid over it.

Who is going to lose a bid?

Could very well be WVU or OU depending on how this all plays out.

I am neither a prophet nor the son of a prophet. But seeing where @Pharm Frog just posted that WVU is now among the first four out, I'm feeling semi-vindicated.
