The Harris/Biden Administration: Coming Together to Build Back Better

Disagree. Political theater meant to distract people from the real issues. You obviously can do both (investigate and handle real issues) but that sure doesn't seem the default in the past 10 years.
I don't think investigations into corruption are political theater if there is actual corruption. J6 hearings are political theater, but we can see the actual corruption and malice forming within the FBI and DOJ and to allow that to metastasize because Republicans are afraid of how the media will portray them is a colossal mistake. DC needs to be gutted to its core, and I agree that can be done concurrently while working for the people, but it has to be done or the country is doomed.

Republicans focusing their energy and taxpayer money on chasing Hunter Biden and the “big guy” rabbit holes would be a huge disappointment. Are we not tired of these vindictive political investigations? They’re all nonsense that go nowhere. For God sake focus on things outside of Washington DC. Be the change. Our economy is in a recession and there are huge issues abroad. Fix those
Be the change....now that its not the D's turn, got it...makes sense.

So Ted Cruz is the guy to gut DC to it's core? Eye patch dude?

What they need to be focusing on is reducing government spending, aligning taxpayer dollars with taxpayer interests, guiding a sustainable logical energy policy instead of green insanity, pushing supply chain solutions

I don't disagree with this in principle.

In practicality, though, no one ever gets credit for taking the high road. If the Republicans don't do anything to show the Democrats they won't be pushed around, then they will just keep getting pushed around.

No, and I didn't suggest they were.

Sure today it's just one pastor, IRS targeting, Journalists wiretapped, the contents of 1800 safety security boxes seized, an ex-President's home searched, two impeachments, dozens of trespassers held in solitary confinement for months on end without due process, cities burned, the misleading of FISA courts, and political show trials. So why worry? I'm sure it will all be better if the Republicans just turn a blind eye.

I don't like any of that either. But the reality is that stuff doesn't materially affect 98% of Americans. Fiscal policy, energy policy, foreign policy does materially affect 98% of Americans as we are all experiencing now.

I'll cross my fingers the Republicans turn a page and deal with it all. Not holding my breath.

Couldn't disagree more with "that stuff doesn't materially affect 98% of Americans", who the scheiss do you think is paying for all of this crap? Who? That's right the AMERICAN taxpayer. This stuff does matter.

I agree it matters but it's immaterial (dollars) compared to what we will send to Ukraine this month. Or spend on xyz foreign policy next month.

And you’re going to figure this out how exactly?

I’m not figuring anything out. I’m trying to figure out how to buy groceries.

However, if the Democrats had spent more time Impeaching Trump and less time shutting the economy down and sending out checks, we wouldn’t be in this mess

I’m all for those idiots in Washington attacking each other. The more time they spend on that, the less time they have to screw with us.

Hah I can see your point there, as fatalistic as it is

I agree the Hunter stuff specifically is likely a total waste of time and would be purely political.

I do think there are real issues within the DOJ that need to be looked into, not as a political stunt, but because we need these many federal police to be accountable to someone at some point.
