The Harris/Biden Administration: Coming Together to Build Back Better

Hoisted by your own petard on this one. Obviously republicans feel this way since they don’t control the executive branch. Fact is, the percentage is so high because most Dems agree in the era of Trump buffoonery, Madison Cawthorn and the cocaine fueled orgies, Marjorie Taylor Green and white nationalism, non-representative government, a Supreme Court that overturns precedent, disinformation, fake election fraud claims, storming the Capitol, normalization of mass murder, etc., that things in this country are a nightmare. Our country is broken, probably irreparably. The 16% who don’t see that are living in ignorant bliss I guess.

"Conflating my mainstream center-left views," he just said (almost fell out of my chair when I read that one). And then the above... lol.

But again, you and your 16% buddies are the rational one's, and we're all out-of-touch and ignorant.

I see you went with the — when you can’t defend your substance, choose ignorance and incorrectly project onto those you disagree with — play. Weak.

That’s how it came off.

That take is forced. The guy who was president for 8 years and everyone knows has advocated both for stricter gun laws and police reform can walk (grieve this tragedy) and chew gum (honor the movement that emerged in support of police reform in the wake of George Floyd’s murder) at the same time. Pretending he tried to downplay the seriousness and tragedy of the former in favor of the latter is very clearly twisting the reality.

It's pointless with you now. You don't want to hear anything. Live in your 16% bubble and be happy that Trump is gone, which is apparently the only thing that really matters to you, hippityhop, and the other far-gone types (on both sides) that he broke.

What is my “16% bubble”?

You just make things up and instinctually believe anything that seems to line up with what’s in your echo chamber. If you read what I posted you’d understand clearly that had I been included in that poll I would’ve been with the 84% that think this country is a trainwreck. I would likely also respond to a presidential approval poll with disapprove. That doesn’t mean I’d vote for a Republican. It just means I think Joe objectively stinks. Right/wrong direction polls and approval polls aren’t necessarily predictive when all the leaders suck as bad as ours do.

Unrelated, but give me a third party/independent option in 2024. As scheissed as my side is with the Supreme Court for the next generation, I may well vote for someone like an independent candidate Romney over a Trump or Biden/Harris. Press a nice hard reset on the GOP, let Biden fade, and see what happens.

SHALL. NOT. BE. INFRINGED.

I don't have to justify my 2nd amendment GOD GIVEN right. Sorry you are such an effeminate soy drinking loser that you let emotions get the best of you to where you cheerlead for further 2nd amendment erosion
You don't have 2nd amendment rights, you just have rights. The right to keep and bear arms is a natural right. Not a gift from government, not a privilege, and not something that requires permission. As Samuel Adams said in 1772, "Among the natural rights of the Colonists are these: First, a right to life; Secondly, to liberty; Thirdly, to property; together with the right to support and defend them in the best manner they can." Further St. George Tucker wrote, "The right of self defence is the first law of nature."

No it’s because inflation is skyrocketing and the market blows while we are sending massive aid overseas and blowing up domestic issues that dont scheissing matter (TS rights or whatever the hell it is)

Unnecessary shot at Hunter Biden, IMO.

Hoisted by your own petard indeed.

Not my faith, but pastor isn’t your Jesus the one that angrily overturned tables in a temple, sat with sinners, and took action rather than just quietly sit in prayer?

I’d suggest the folks supposedly doing all the praying and telling us in social media posts to “just pray” might need to stop doing all the talking at God and start doing some listening. In my faith, God sends signs. Not sure how they could be any clearer.
As your God, you are forgiven...
