The Harris/Biden Administration: Coming Together to Build Back Better

Yes, they did. Which makes this even more confusing. By merging with the PGA TOUR, LIV is essentially becoming the monopolistic entity they believed already existed at the PGA TOUR.

I don't think this merger will ever happen. I think the players will unionize in revolt, or the courts may interfere (with a nudge from politicians -- Committee on Foreign Investments in US). Or both.

If it does happen, I think it will be in a different form than what is currently being projected.
If there ever was a case for CFIUS, this would be it.

I sense there is “Trump Indictment Fatigue” going on. In other words…here they go again with the “get Trump” nonsense.

So the Republicans won’t do anything about it, as usual. They’ll grandstand and make strong statements, then they’ll retreat back to a place where they can protect their own interests.
Assume you are referring to the Trump indictment. The Biden bribery scandal is a Biden scandal. Should have little to do with Trump.

No, not the bribery scandal at all. It's the fact that they are indicting Trump for something Biden has done -- being in possession of classified documents.
False. Biden’s staff IMMEDIATELY handed over the docs they found to the feds, as soon as they found them, without even having to be asked. So did Pence, btw. Further, Biden consented to FBI searches of his two homes, his DC office, and his archives at U of Delaware.
Trump is NOT being prosecuted for simply “being in possession.” He’s being prosecuted for the crime of refusing to return them, having been asked and even subpoenaed for over a year, and then lying under oath via his attorney about having returned them all.
But go ahead and pretend it’s the same thing, if that makes you feel better.

Trump is being indicted because he's Trump. It's not even a (D) or (R) thing. It's just a Trump thing.

aside from holding a hearing which is basically grandstanding, what can the house and do concerning this matter?

wouldn't any actual investigation have to come from the justice department or a state/local prosecutor?

Behold the true believer.

The indictment ... does not bode well. (For either "side.")

You also (generally) do not get bail for espionage. It will be interesting to see how this is handled. I guess he could make an argument that he has law enforcement around him 24/7 (Secret Service) to keep him from absconding and get house confinement?
