Yup, now Twitter will need to disclose their real user numbers and methodology behind their public statements attesting to a less than 5% bot user base. Additionally, I expect Musk’s team to bring up the mysterious drop of followers to left leaning accounts the day after the buyout was announced as evidence of possible securities fraud by the board.

Move over Depp/Heard, It’s going to be a fun year!

Here is the Complaint.

IMO: Some decent claims made by Twitter but have a feeling (more than a feeling) like Musk's team is going to obliterate them in the Response.

There is almost no downside to Musk investing what would otherwise be an absurd sum in in this lawsuit.

If there's no 'materially adverse affect' from bot/spam accounts, then the stock price goes up, potentially covering the value of his offer. (or even better, exceeding the value of his offer.) Funding becomes easy. If there is material impact, the price goes down, and he gets a discount, and funding becomes easier, or he choses to bail as he has requested. If he doesn't fight and settles, he coughs up a lot of money. I don't see the last option as being part of his character.
