The Detroit News: Michigan State rallies in second half to win Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl

Tempe, Ariz. — Throughout the entire 2012 season, Michigan State found itself in the exact same position it was on Saturday night.
The Spartans were in a tight battle against a quality opponent, one big play away from pulling out a victory.
This time it was against TCU in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl, and this time it wasn't just one big play, it was a series of them.
However, the final one was as big as any as senior kicker Dan Conroy nailed a 47-yard field goal with 1:01 to play to cap a second-half rally and give Michigan State a 17-16 victory over TCU in front of 44,617 at Sun Devil Stadium.
It was the second straight bowl victory for Michigan State (7-6) which has reached six straight bowl games and avoided its first losing season since 2009. ...
