A couple of interesting articles with some TCU influence on The Athletic today. One goes in depth on all time CFP rankings and what we've learned. Thanks to a couple good performances from TCU and theRapists, the Big 12 actually stacks up pretty well on aggregate, but still need a couple wins to gain some clout in public eyes.

One fact that was pretty funny, sixteen power five teams have never been in the playoff rankings at any point. 15 are pretty obvious, like KU, Vandy, Wake Forest, Maryland, Tech, and then there's number 16. Texas. Haha

Also a good article on the TCU state of the program, a running series right now going over all power five and group of five programs. Coach P seems a little more positive on our O-Line than many here and looks to be most worried about our D-Backs as of now. Interesting chart below regarding returning production as well.

I read both of these articles this morning. I was not sure what the protocol was on sharing theathletic articles. The chart of returning production really stood out to me. In terms of standard statistics, we return a large percentage of production in every category (aside from Passing).

I agree, Patterson seemed pretty confident with the O-line and down on the corner backs.

TCU also ranked very highly on their "inverse point total" for the CFP.

"Using inverse totals — 25 points for No. 1 rankings, 24 points for No. 2, etc. — Alabama has amassed 595 points in the weekly Playoff rankings, far ahead of second-place Ohio State’s 491. Clemson (473), Oklahoma (379), TCU (312) and Florida State (303) are the only other teams to crack 300."

TCU is ranked fifth overall!
