You may not like the job he is doing at TX ST but that has no reflection on TCU imo. He’s an alum. Not a good representative of the quality of graduates we put out.

Texas State's colors are maroon and gold. You may be thinking of the movie Necessary Roughness, released in 1991. In that movie, Texas State was a fictional university whose colors were green and white, and whose mascot was the Armadillo. The current Texas State University, in 1991, was still Southwest Texas State University. There was no Texas State at that time.
They ended up hiring West Virginia OC Jake Spavital.
Tx State also had Jim Wacker and Dennis Franchione. TCU was prominently mentioned when both of them were hired. You may not like the job he is doing at TX ST but that has no reflection on TCU imo.
Pretty underwhelming hire in my opinion....

Disagree. I think it is a solid hire. Good job Larry.Pretty underwhelming hire in my opinion....
RobRoy said Teis was a disgrace to TCU because he didn’t like the job he was doing at TX ST. I disagreed with that notion and I wax saying that has no effect on TCU on way or the other. However, it is a notable that he went to TCU.Tx State also had Jim Wacker and Dennis Franchione. TCU was prominently mentioned when both of them were hired.

Is there a worm canning facility around here? Never seen an actual can of worms.
