if fisher opted to leave atm he would not have to pay a cent

lsu does owe eddie o over 10m and fisher is owed over 65m by the ags. both numbers are guaranteed. his contract per year is more than double what eddie o is paid and why do you think lsu settled on ed in the first place?

they like him? they thought he was the best choice for the program?

if you truly believe lsu is in a position to guarantee that amount of money to hire fisher so be it.

I do..especially with the zero buyout. The whole world knows Eddie O isnt the answer. They could get 7 donors pony up a mill to have him gone (after next year) and then continue with Jimbo's Aggie salary...

Jimbo saw how Saban handled the Baton Rouge boosters...meaning he didnt talk to them...and he would request the same deal. At Aggie, everyone wants access...which is thorny at best...

The 75 million is only guaranteed if he does not quit, correct? He can’t just leave and still collect the money can he? Why would he leave that no matter how miserable he might be?

then why didn't they before they hired eddie o?

they could have hired jimbo straight from fsu and instead tried to hire mensa and ended up with eddie o.

lsu isn't ucla when it comes to being cash strapped, but they aren't atm either.

If Jimbo WANTS to be at LSU then they'll work out the money. If he doesn't then it doesn't matter what they might offer, he'll just use it to get a raise from his current employer.

I certainly have no idea whether or not he actually wants to go there.
