Tevin Lawson --DT

[BelushiBob]

If LSU is going to grey shirt Tevin Lawson, for Duke Riley, then why cant we just offer Tevin Lawson? Its not like we aren't after a DT?
Could it be that simple? Make LSU decide.

He committed so early, he only got two offers and is a 4 star. LSU really screwed the guy over with a last second greyshirt.

I like it.

I like it.

They still have a spot for a last second weekend visit...... There's no way a big man like this expected to pay his own way for a semester and all of the cost. I'd be pissed.

McFarland, Lathan, & Big Chuckie from Louisiana....maybe they can join the push.....grow that front 6 from the bayou!

[HFrog12]

Apparently he has grade issues and might not qualify. That is why LSU asked him to greyshirt.

How do you not know at this point in the game?

Or maybe he hasnt talked to anyone in a year and hasn't looked around. The grades could be a smoke screen. It's to awfully close to signing day

[Opintel]

Next Wednesday- and it'll be fun!

Yep. Probably won't qualify.

They've snookered this kid and floated a rumor that he wont qualify to scare off recruiters. I keep reading posts of people from Louisiana that are pissed that Les seems to offer highly recruited out-of-state kids a full scholly and pressures in-state recruits to take a grey shirt. Look whats happening here.... same damn thing.

[full house frog]

Sounds like a good idea, let's bring him in.

[tcujsauce]

He'll probably go to LSU. lol

[Lone Frog]

Hey, give him an offer and a chance to visit. If he was one of their first commits and is being grayshirted to make room for someone else they want more, I expect pride might come into play.
