Wonder if there is a market on Kalshi on him getting suspended/banned?
Unless some unknown new evidence emerges to clear Sorsby of betting on CFB, Yormark & the B12 won’t clear him to play.
I doubt Sorsby plays another down of CFB.
It’s now the Will Hammond show. TT needs to develop him very quickly, and he’s coming off a torn ACL. He just started throwing a week ago.

If you have eligibility left. I still have four years.
Seems like you should have 7 years, no?

I thought McGuire said he wouldn’t be back until at least October?

Sounds about right.

Major gambling and gaming industry events in September 2026 are highlighted by the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas (Sept 28–Oct 1) and the SBC Summit in Lisbon (Sept 29–Oct 1). Other key events include SiGMA North America in Mexico City (Sept 1–3), SPiCE Central Asia (Sept 24–25), and regional casino/tribal gaming conferences.

Well never say never, but it‘s highly doubtful.
Sorsby bet on thousands of games, and most importantly, per Pete Thamel @ ESPN, he bet on Indiana while he was on Indiana’s roster.
If there is sufficient evidence Sorsby placed bets on Indiana football while with the team in 2022, he would be deemed permanently ineligible, according to updated NCAA sports betting guidelines passed in 2023. The guidelines don’t allow for mitigating factors when an athlete is found to have bet on that player’s own school, even if the athlete cooperates with the investigation in that scenario.
Note: Sorsby reportedly made all his bets on an App., so that means there is a digital record of every bet he ever made.

Yeah, media reports had been saying Hammond debut in late Sept, roughly game 3. Houston at home. Tech boards are now hoping for some kind of accelerated recovery schedule, whatever that is. Lloyd Jones still expected to get most falls snaps according to Rash sources.

It is not hard at all to make "thousands of bets" on line. You can make multiple bets for every drive, every quarter, parlays, etc. So while it’s fun to laugh at Tech, he could have made bets on any number of sports, not just college football.
For me this is the canary in the coal mine. With online betting being so easy and young people very vulnerable to get hooked on it, it is guaranteed that gambling is bigger than ever in anthletics and games have been affected, imho.

20 bucks says he demanded half that Tech money up front with not requirements to pay it back.

wait, maybe I should write that differently.

So his last game could be ... the loss at AGC last year.
