the story says he bet on Indiana to win when he was a freshman and not getting any playing time. But 1000s of online bets??? Will he end up getting suspended? Banned? Or will Tech pay out big to prevent all that from happening? does he have any NIL money left?

Keep in mind in Iowa football player bet on an Iowa softball or volleyball game, and was deemed in eligible for the entire season. So yeah if he gets out of this unscathed, the NCAA was 100% paid off.

It is not hard at all to make "thousands of bets" on line. You can make multiple bets for every drive, every quarter, parlays, etc. So while its fun to laugh at Tech, he could have made bets on any number of sports, not just college football.
