TCU's Best Days are Gone, Thanks for the Memories

After this season, it is clear that TCU does not belong in the Big 12.
The players lacked the commitment to win.
The Coaches couldn't put together an offense to save the season.
Muffed punt returns became staple fare for each and every game.
The best coaches on staff have bailed or are bailing out.
TCU couldn't even match Baylor with a bowl win, and Baylor had a tougher bowl opponent.
SMU smoked its competition 43-10.
And the frogs? Not enough grit and determination to win.

Thanks for the memories and the past teams that did what it took to win.
Exciting wins at Clemson in the rain, Air Force in freezing rain, and clobbering Utah at home.
You deserve accolades for reviving a team that had been left for roadkill.

But all good things eventually come to an end.
The new TCU coaches and players are just too lazy and don't have what it takes to win.
Just watch what happens this offseason; the weight room will be empty.
The new players will take a page out of the UT playbook and just stand around, pretending to win by skill alone.

Thanks for the memories. Enjoy your entitled "We win because we're TCU so we don't have to do the hard work" mentality. You've had a good couple of years that were fun to watch, but it's over now.

Prediction #1: TCU gets MUDHOLED by LSU. The embarrassment due to lazy TCU players and coaches will be EPIC.

Prediction #2: TCU will AGAIN have a LOSING Big 12 record. TCU just doesn't have what it takes to compete in the Big 12.

Prediction #3: TCU will wait at least half-way through the season to score its FIRST Big 12 Home win. I want to say 2014, but blind referees may aid TCU offense incompetence to win one Big 12 home game in 2013.

Prediction #4: TCU Offense will FLAT OUT SUCK for the second year in a row. You can only hide sub-par recruiting, highly inept play calling, a swiss-cheese offensive line that DOES NOT HUNT TOGETHER, and a lack of talented skill players for only so long.

Prediction #5: At least one and likely both Baylor and SMU will embarrass the Frogs. Both have taken steps to move their programs forward. Baylor is clearly ahead of TCU and with none of the advantages TCU has, SMU is catching up quickly.

Prediction #6: Killer Frogs posters will continue the tradition of blaming the officials after the INEVITABLE close losses.

Prediction #7: TCU's punt return game will improve in 2013.

I hope you're right about #7. I've always thought Josh Boyce would make a good punt returner but they've never put him back there. Maybe he looks really bad in practices catching punts.

Not that kind of frog.

BTW made an incredible grilled shrimp po'boy for lunch. Sauce was a lowfat mayo with horsey and tabasco and used tiger prawns.

I friend of mine makes a similar dipping sauce/spread by thining out the Mayo with a killer Bloody Mary mix he gets in San Diego (he lives there). Obviously we have Bloodies with the vittles. Great stuff.
