TCU will not be part of a new Big 12

Boone Pickens will not support TCU into the new Big 12 if they add two. Without "yes" from Baylor and Oklahoma State we are not moving in the Big 12, ever. We will have to look toward the east or west if we want to become BCS. I wish we could get Rick Perry to work with us like he did for Baylor - a university who can't give away free tickets to their own stadium (told to me by a Waco resident and Baylor alumni source). Two governors now spit in the face of TCU. What does that do for Fort Worth's economy when TCU is a major part of it...I guess its status quo right now, but where is the NCAA in all this...after the success of BYU, Boise State, and TCU shouldn't their be penalties for conferences until those teams become part of a BCS conference? Shouldn't a tax relief come to the conferences that do. I know that is not the case I'm just venting as college football should not be run like a professional league but should be run on performance - athletically and academically. Nothing is fair in life.

Pickens is getting senile. Okie State's stadium is 48,000 and I'm sure they sell it out with OU, UT, A&M, etc, coming to town. Try it with TCU's schedule, Don Quixote. Bottom line, we are a much stronger football program than Okie state, with or without T-Bone's millions.

he's pretty comical......but his TCU comment is mis-guided. The Cowpokes stadium is much less bigger than ours, there's is a p.o.s....they barely sell it out for OU......why don't you schedule us now that your schedule just got imminently weaker...oh yeah, you lost to UofH.....lol....

Which is exactly why we won't be invited to the new Longhorn Athletic Conference ever. UT and its welfare babies just had an opportunity to form a more competitive, national conference on the table and turned it down for a weaker, parochial, "thank you, Texas" bumfest. Why the heck would they ever add a program that brings nothing but a guaranteed bloody nose on the field?

Kirk Bohls, the guy interviewing Boone in the video, in an article based on that interview, actually went on to write how Boone would entertain the notion of TCU joining the Big 12. I think Boone was just acting-a-fool for entertainment purposes and people are overreacting to it.

I know it is hard being the ugly girl at the dance...and you obviously have some envy issues of the girl in green and gold, but take some advice from the stud that everyone wants to dance with...you need to get prettier...alot prettier...and playing New Mexico, SDSU, and UNLV AND sucking at basketball isn't going to help you get beautiful.

AF and BYU still seem a possibility IF the Big-12 goes back to 12.

The thing is how will the MWC do if Utah jets to the Pac-10(probable) and BYU and AF get scooped up by the Big-12?

Then TCU and BSU would be the big teams in the MWC and a lot of watered down football. Would the MWC then be better than the WAC or Conference USA still?

Maybe the MWC would then try to add Houston, Utep, NV or Tulsa to fill some holes....

Would our schedule seem tougher to you if the geldings down in Austin and the sack grabbers down in College Station weren't scared of scheduling us? At least Baylor and Tech have taken their beatings like men.

First, our girls are way better looking than baylors, I mean woof. (i know that's not what you meant but seriously our girls are gorgeous and baylors looks like they just crawled out of a stock tank somewhere)

second, why would we want to be baylor you idiot. the last two times we played baylor we have won by a combined score of 44-7 and the last time we played them in baseball, what was the score? oh yeah 9-0 frogs

third, a schedule against ranked utah, byu, and boise and air force is prettier than UT's is going to be when they play one ranked team a year in OU

fourth, no one cares about basketball

and fifth, How did that dogpile on your precious longhorn taste? must have been a pretty tough pill to swallow. So much so that you are wasting your time on our board trying to make us feel bad. Good job loser, kick back and watch TCU in the CWS and get a life
