TCU vs the Campbell's CycloBirds Prediction Thread

Stumbling, bumbling ISU comes fluttering to Ft. Worth on a 4 game losing streak to try to revive their season and bowl hopes. They've won 4 of the last 5 from us, the lone win for the frogs in that glorious, magical 2022 season.

Do they continue their winning ways against us? Or does Hoover take over and get revenge?

I say neither.

TCU 17 - ISU 14.

The Clones with holes in their secondary, now hole in LB corp and several other announced weaknesses seem vulnerable to our vaunted passing attack and maybe even to our anemic running game. We should beat them handily. However, according to Sonny & company, Shoulda Coulda Woulda seem to be our weaknesses no matter who we are playing. So, our relatively healthy Frogs seem to be pretty even with the injury riddled Clones.

Clones - 13
Frogs - 24

I believe that TCU wins, but living just 45 miles from Ames, I know that they have two good running backs and they have a group of outstanding tight ends. Hopefully our defense is ready.

We’ve had an extra week to heal, prep and clean up those constant mental mistakes on the field and on the sidelines…we need to see some results!

TCU by 91!

**A little cheat code I learned watching The Price is Right.

Anyone else seen the AI-generated and hilariously inappropriate Price is Right videos that are floating around on X? Can’t post them here but I’ve just about [ Finebaum ] my pants laughing at some of them…

Just what the Frogs need, some home cookin’.
ISU’s secondary has been thru a meat grinder, so Josh should be around 300 yds, and I like Barnes for 80-100.
Hoover just needs to avoid the turnovers, and our D will need to hold ISU’s two big 215 lb. RBs to around 170 yds and the Frogs should win by a TD.
