Ok, off the ledge. The defense is actually doing pretty well. But damn, our o-line is a mess. I've always said, when you can't run and you can't pass, there's something wrong with the o-line. And don't tell me that "Craig leads the conference in passing". That's misleading at best.

And don't even get me started on those damn penalties.

I hate to do this, but, the two losses were by only one score, and both basically on the road. We are at home where we appear to do better, and if this team has any fight at all, I think they'll come out swinging and punch those cougs in the nose.

Plus, it appears that the BYU press is trying their hardest to give us bulletin board material. Read it guys! Read it!

Gimme your prediction, if you have the stomach for it. And tell me how many interceptions we get.

Well, since I'm not putting any money on it, I'm with you. I think we just may pull a shocker. We will need to score points though.
Frogs 38 - BYU 35.

Frogs drop a squeaker to BYU. 56 - 9. I can't see far enough into the future to see if it was 3 FG or 1 TD and a safety. Leaning towards the 3 FG, all from 50+, closest we get to end zone.

Usually a little purple optimism starts to creep in by this time of the week, but not feeling any optimism thus far based on what I've seen of the Frogs vs two below average P4 teams. BYU isn't below average. I think their run game dominates. I don't think we'll be able to run at all, which puts the game and pressure on Craig and he's not a Max/TB type (or even a Kenny Hill)..... So I think it'll be a very 1980's-90's type of day with something like a BYU 38 TCU 13 score.

To be fair, I felt the same lack of optimism at times during the 23 season and we bounced back so who knows? Just feel we're in the beginnings of a football death spiral.
