Not trying to be dramatic or traumatic, but I agree that 0 is a real possibility here... 424 consecutive games without a shutout (second only to Florida nation wide) is in true danger....Last shutout was 1991 against UTexas in Austin....Following week at home, TCU scored late on UHouston in ACS to win 49-45....BYU is just a few Goliath heights ahead of the Frogs now....BYU 77
TCU 0
BYU 77
TCU 0

20 - 14 (with 53 seconds left in the game(Ugh. Not sure I even want to do this. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THIS TEAM???
Ok, off the ledge. The defense is actually doing pretty well. But damn, our o-line is a mess. I've always said, when you can't run and you can't pass, there's something wrong with the o-line. And don't tell me that "Craig leads the conference in passing". That's misleading at best.
And don't even get me started on those damn penalties.
I hate to do this, but, the two losses were by only one score, and both basically on the road. We are at home where we appear to do better, and if this team has any fight at all, I think they'll come out swinging and punch those cougs in the nose.
Plus, it appears that the BYU press is trying their hardest to give us bulletin board material. Read it guys! Read it!
Gimme your prediction, if you have the stomach for it. And tell me how many interceptions we get.
TCU 21 - BYU 20. 2 ints.
Each to his own but I don't see it. Against our only 2 games vs Power 4 Teams we go 10 and 13 pts. I don't think BYU is weaker than North Carolina or UCF. Would be really surprised to see us put up 20.Last year's score was 44-13 (home game for BYU). And Hoover was particularly bad in this one (2 INTS and 10/23 and 183 yds passing). Will Craig be any better?
I think being at home helps, but unless they play much more aggressively and our run game materializes, and we don't turn the ball over, it will be a loss.
I think the score will be closer than last year, but 38-20 BYU is my prediction.
That game last year was not nearly as close as the score indicated. The offense was so unprepared for the matchup that it was shocking, and the team just folded up. It's no surprise that they yanked The Whelp's iPad from him following the game, leading the team to believe that he had been fired...Last year's score was 44-13 (home game for BYU). Very true. It was a blowout last year, IMO.That game last year was not nearly as close as the score indicated. I don't know if we will face that kind of physical and mental domination again this time round, but all signs point to...
I can’t disagree with that perspective. I’m just hoping they get angry enough to warrant better play. Each to his own but I don't see it. Against our only 2 games vs Power 4 Teams we go 10 and 13 pts. As pups we used to love Hee-Haw and the Carol Burnett Show... "It was something I saw in the window and I couldn't resist..."Mucho thanks for that. I have not seen that HH segment for 45-50 years. That Gloom despair agony on me was a regular for years. That hound featured caused me to subconsciously happen into a Hound in 2009 and he ended up being my best out of 6 dogs in 30 years.
Sitaki calls off the Hounds in the 4th and it ends up slightly better score as Hoovers 1st start. 51 to 9.
