Both teams took big jumps in the RPI this week. Both 7-1. Texas A&M is #33, TCU is #44.

Should be a great game at the Toyota Center in Houston.

Here are the current RPI rankings.

These teams seem to be very even on paper. I agree, this one should be a good one! Go Frogs!

The NET rankings have a pretty big discrepancy for aTm. They are ranked 50 and the Frogs are 74. These teams look like mirror images of each other. They have beaten Butler and ND but not much else. We play like we did against Utah and we should win.

Go Frogs!

Most power rankings and prognosticators have it as a toss up based on performance to date but I think we have another level of play in us that we might have started to find against Utah. We’ll see tonight. Will be a good measuring stick.

It’s funny the direct tv information shows aggie beat TCU last year. Obviously written by an aggie.

Irrelevant to this game (and maybe it was discussed here at the time) but just recalled that 9 months ago ORU was in the Sweet 16. Probably a different team this season but still…

The RPI is a worthless tool these days. The committee uses the NET rankings, where TCU is in the mid 70s. They did jump 30+ spots with the Utah victory.
