TCU vs Houston Prediction Thread

O-line struggling. Defense undisciplined. QB regressing. Coaches look lost, confused, clueless.

This team looks completely different than the one just a month ago. Frustration abounds.

Does someone have, inside their core, a flame that burns, a flame that will emanate and spread to the rest of the team? A flame that bursts with desire to win, to salvage a season on the brink of collapse?

A flame that says, I am a horned frog and I choose to lift myself up and fight. Even on the ice, long after hell has frozen over.

UH isn’t great great, but we seem to be flailing. We’re not great either despite all those that continue to bang on about supposed talent.

75% chance for UH to win imo.

If things go as the rest of the season:

Defense:

Houston runs two plays for 2-3 yards. Avalos calls for soft zone as some sort of prevent a TD move. Houston runs 8 yard stop route for a first down. Defense gets tired, give up score.

Froggy Style mad.

Offense:

Briles runs some cool plays dad drew up for him during the week. Runs out of cool plays. Run spread option without the threat of the option part. Loss of 3. Third and 13: Interception.

Froggy Style mad.

Summary: Froggy style mad that he can continue to predict what the coaches will do, but the coaches don't think the opposing coaches can.

Conclusion: We don't have real coaches

Oh, and 24-21 Frogs

I think the time to circle the wagons and come out swinging passed the week of Iowa State. We were lethargic and soft instead. Another chance to show some fight, heart, energy came last week vs BYU. We laid down and spent more energy fighting amongst ourselves and avoiding execution than we did trying to beat the opponent.
The true identity of this team and staff was revealed these past 2 weeks so Saturday won’t be a good day for Frog football fans.
Fritz has UH playing at or near their ceiling while we are digging a deeper basement. Hope I’m wrong, but I don’t think so…

Houston over achieved. TCU under achieved. At Houston, so no crowds unlike BYU.
TCU run defense vs Houston run offense... TCU wins.
TCU bounce back game 34-13 Frogs

Hungry for a win, Frogs prevail 31-21. Houston has not played well their last two outings, winning by a FG at UCF and losing by 10 at home to WV.
Go Frogs!

Tcus next two games Houston and UCF. UCF vs Houston tied 27-27 with 2:45 left in the 4th. Both teams threw critical interceptions to shift the game. Houston kicks FG with 2:23 left in the game and wins 30-27.

Houston has the former 5 star QB Connor Weigman from A&M. He was exited out of TAMU supposedly because of his mary jane addiction. He certainly has made some bonehead plays this year.

Houston is 8-2 for a reason. The coaches OC Slade Nagle & DC Austin Armstrong know football. Stellar coaches like Willie Fritz understand how to avoid the November swoon and keep players emotions in check once the holidays approach.

Houston is off of a bye. Good coaches know how to manage a bye. Houston 33 TCU 22.
