I think this is a bad sign that probably there are key underclassmen leaving and they just don't want to play for TCU anymore.

Multiple high-major programs -- such as Indiana, South Carolina and Wake Forest -- declined an invitation to the NIT after missing out on the NCAA Tournament. Last year, Oklahoma, Pitt, St. John's, and Indiana were among the teams that declined an invite.

West Virginia got snubbed by the NCAA tourney and then declined bids to the Crown and NIT. Kansas State declined both too. The bottom six teams of the Big 12 will participate; Oklahoma State in the NIT and the other five in the Crown.

The Crown has gutted the NIT of its Power 4 and Big East teams and maybe you can make a case that FOX should be shamed for this. The NIT is now the third tier.
