Welcome back to another edition of What Did We Learn. With the return of the football season, myweekly article returns, a two-year-long tradition now. At the end of every weekend, I release my weekly "what did we learn"—an opinionated editorial detailing what Frog fans can take away from the week before that might not appear in the box score.

After the TCU Horned Frogs dropped their first game of the season last week on the road against the Arizona State Sun Devils, questions were raised about how the Frogs would respond against Colorado. A soul-crushing loss, followed by a home game, with a chance to reset the season and continue down a path of success, or would they crumble and come out flat?

The answer was yes, to both. It wasn't like they rolled over, but it took a while for the offense that the fans have come to know for the year to show up. The defense is the same they have been this season. They bend, but they don't break, and they come up with turnovers.

So what exactly did we learn from the game, that Frog fans can take away moving forward?

We learned that our offensive line plays on highschool level and has for the last two games. Send them to portal and recruit junior college that want to play. No reason to allow all those sacks and hurry’s and our running backs can’t even leave their set positions.

We also learned that many of our OL players did not drink their milk or eat spinach while growing up and worse, some were drinking Walmart milk with estrogen in their yudes days.

I have a thorough opinion on the Kendall Briles post about our underclass lineman and the pros and cons of playing them. We have some serious Alpha OL who are true fresh, RS fresh who TCU needs to have a plan for NOW. THW Grey shirts, redshirts, pink shirts. Please put at least a couple of them in there for more than 50% of the snaps. They will make mistakes. The mistakes the coach staff should make clear with the kids is that you can make mistakes except for 1. That mistake is do not let Josh Hoover get touched. Simple.

It can't be overemphasized how important it is to let young OL (if the staff is wise enough/brass enough to give these guys snaps) make mistakes in order to have better OL play for the future.

Was I supposed to type something here?

Honestly, could it be worse?

That is good and should be on auto play in congressional hearings when they dummycrats start talking about global warming oops "Climate change" I have looked for Carlin's schtick on 100% (or could things be worse) and can't find it. He rants about there is no such thing as 110% or even 180% and it is impossible to be even 110%. It may have come around the time he talked about baseball vs. football or using the handicap bathroom stall in airport. The handicap bathroom stall is one of the greatest almost rib breaking things I've heard.
