Dream was probably my all-time fave to watch. Got to see him play at Hofheinz as a freshman when he literally couldn’t make layups in the warmup line. . . Through dedication and consistent hard work he developed into (IMHO) the greatest center of his era, and arguably all time. Even though we know what we know about so many offspring of superstars like this, I’d LOVE to see his kid play for Jamie.
Ed: also got to work out with him briefly once at a gym in West U. Shared the curling station, where he was hi-repping with my max, lol.

I remember watching him, too. His free throws didn’t even get above the rim. They bounced right off the front, sometimes the bottom. Amazing talent to have developed into a HOFer.

I was there for the '82-'83 season, and he was still pretty danged rough around the edges. The reason I was confused is because I had been thinking all these years that he was a freshman then, and not in '81.

I plead excessive scholastic work.
