Got a kid at TCU now. He was forced to take ESG in America as a freshman. Said it was some black lady talking about the evil white man that built this country. The DEI lady stopped coming to teach halfway through semester (school still charged kids and kids got credit). Parents prob paid $7,000 for this BS.
There is an accounting professor that was named DEI professor of the year. Her degree is from ITT Technical Online and she lied saying she was CPA. TCU kept her anyway. Just look up the worst rated professor at the school. 95% of student students on rate my professor said she was terrible.

The board needs to fire a lot of woke viruses inside our school. I think I’d start with Einstein. He asked everyone to use their pronouns when I saw him speak

Chico Escuela was DEI before DEI was cool.

I'm gonna get me a shotgun and kill all the whities I see,
I'm gonna get me a shotgun and kill all the whities I see.
When I kill all the whities I see, then whitey he won't bother me,
I'm gonna get me a shotgun and kill all the whities I see.

Then I'll get a white woman who's wearing a navy blue sweater.

You're upset because of her personal opinion? Thought conservatives wanted ideological diversity and would never try to get someone fired because they personally believe something you don't like? I simply can't believe that maybe they were lying about that.

In terms of the institution and mission of the University itself, you betcha that it looks different than they did almost a decade ago. It's an entirely new administration, for one.
But the school was the same from the 1930’s to about 2005 and it was great.

Run by the Big Jim Jack/ Amon Carter mafia. Big oil & gas cigars ran the show and really did not care what others said or did.

Barnett Shale and Gary Patterson started the age of expansion.

By the way the school got hammered by the college rating services many years ago for not being diverse enough. So the school tried to do something about it. Now they get hammered for being more diverse. You can't have it both
How about we promote diversity with the racisty stuff?

A long long time ago when I was perusing the Princeton Review regarding college possibilities, the first sentence of the TCU write-up said something to the effect: There are two major problems with Texas Christian University and they are both mentioned in its name: Texas and Christian.

I have two sons that are attending now, one will be a senior and the other a sophomore. They never were forced to take ESG in America. They have been able to choose whatever classes they wanted - the same as it was in my day.

We've always been partial to the liberal side. I remember well back in 1948 when a group of faculty and students were clamoring for admitting Black students. That was successfully resisted until sometime early in the 1950's. Just the beginning, I guess.

I don't know about "forced to take"... But my Sophomore daughter at TCU was unable to choose multiple classes she wanted because they were full. She had to take classes that she did not want to take... Thankfully ESG in America was not one of them.

So, your argument is "Anyone who doesn't agree with me is a racist."

Noted.

Not exactly. Garrett Morris was sportscaster Chico Escuela, "not another dumb jock," as described by fellow newscaster Jane Curtin. He later delivered that song when they were having a talent contest in a prison, and he was playing a homicidal inmate. But yes, that song was sung by Garrett Morris on an SNL sketch.

The counter cultural adults had me watching SNL before I really even understood the humor.

Simple solution. When the school emails you asking for donations, just reply with this as an attachment and say you are withholding any and all future donations and support until these ideologies are rooted out from the curriculum and administration. No self-respecting alumni of TCU should donate to the school just to watch their dollars go towards funding a radical activist propaganda farm.
Also keep in mind the endowment is over a billion dollars, school is not exactly struggling.
