TCU is cooked…

Simple solution. When the school emails you asking for donations, just reply with this as an attachment and say you are withholding any and all future donations and support until these ideologies are rooted out from the curriculum and administration. No self-respecting alumni of TCU should donate to the school just to watch their dollars go towards funding a radical activist propaganda farm.

How is it deceptive? Aesha John is still a professor at TCU. Unless you’re saying you know her personally and she has done a complete 180 and no longer believes any of what she said.
You're upset because of her personal opinion? Thought conservatives wanted ideological diversity and would never try to get someone fired because they personally believe something you don't like? I simply can't believe that maybe they were lying about that.

In terms of the institution and mission of the University itself, you betcha that it looks different than they did almost a decade ago. It's an entirely new administration, for one.

So we are upset about a 2017 video? I have no words.

By the way the school got hammered by the college rating services many years ago for not being diverse enough. So the school tried to do something about it. Now they get hammered for being more diverse. You can't have it both ways.
I’m outraged that you aren’t more outraged. . . Outrageous!

That’s not her personal opinion. “We are growing OUR curriculum around DEI”, so she is either speaking about her specific school/major or the university at large. How does forming a curriculum around race and sexuality benefit students getting a job? It’s not meant for preparing young leaders for the work force, it’s to indoctrinate.

Suggesting that research conducted by white people has to be inherently discredited isn’t “diversity of thought”. That’s called racism.

And yeah, that’s the problem. If the goal of the new administration is to indoctrinate its students with racially and sexuality-based ideologies, then TCU has lost its way.

it was cooked in 1997 when I was a student there.

Yep, in 1997 I had Dr. Sharon Reynolds as a Secondary Ed prof. Somehow we got to talking about convicted child molester and Catholic priest Rudy Cos and we got into an ugly disagreement where she defended him and said he was a good man. I knew Rudy Cos because he was a priest in the parish I grew up in and I knew boys he molested. Utterly disgusting stance and I wish I had taken it to the administration.
