Men's NCAA selection show is Wednesday at 1p Central on Golf Channel. Brentley Romine projects the Frogs as a 6 seed (teams ranked 31-36) and has them playing in Columbus.
The other projected 6s are: Wake, Clemson, Louisville, Utah, and UCLA. Wake is hosting, so they'll be at home. The other regional sites are Columbus, Athens, Bryan, Tucson (Marana) and Corvallis. Unless there's a conference-balance issue, I'd expect the committee to send Clemson to Athens, Louisville to Columbus, the Frogs to Bryan, and UCLA/Utah to Tucson/Corvallis.
Another reason to expect that the Frogs will go to Bryan: Baylor won't be in the field, and SMU is not in Romine's projections. That could be an oversight, but the Ponies may have gotten clipped by the .500 rule after finishing 13th in the ACC tournament. It would be kind of delicious to see them stay home.
