TCU baseball question

When was the last time TCU had a left handed fielding first baseman starting regularly?

Gonna guess Matt Carpenter early in his college career. I can't recall which side Steglich batted from but I think righty.

NM: Just saw you said "fielding". Matt throws righty. I'll keep thinking.

I give up. I started following TCU baseball back around 2000-ish when we moved back to Texas from Tennessee. I can't recall a regular left-handed fielding first baseman but I bet I'm missing someone that I shouldn't be.

Anyone attend this evening's scrimmage against McClennan? I was wanting to but after being burned driving in for a sold-out volleyball game on Saturday, I started a painting project at the house and didn't get finished until about 6:30 tonight. Was wondering how they looked....

It was hard to tell. The opposing pitching was that good.
TCU is going to fly around the basepaths. There is a lot of team speed.
Two new players hit home runs. Sorry I don't know their names.
