TCU women’s basketball wins big over Houston Christian​

TCU women’s basketball won in blowout fashion in their home opener against Houston Christian, 78-41.

The Frogs started slow by shooting just 4-17 from the field in the first quarter.

Hailey Van Lith made her debut as a Horned Frog and scored her first points with a three-pointer and began her own 11-0 run which led TCU to gain a 10-point lead in the second half.

The Frogs forced 13 HCU turnovers within the first 15 minutes of the game, showcasing their dominant defense.
