TCU 360: TCU travels to Kansas State for first time in team history

After a 12-game homestand that was only broken up by a game at UT-Arlington, the TCU baseball team will travel to Kansas State for the first time in team history.
The Horned Frogs are coming off their third straight Big 12 Conference series win with a win Saturday and Sunday over Baylor. The 15-inning game Saturday was the longest in recorded TCU history. Following the series win, the team did not have a midweek game for the first time this season.
Head coach Jim Schlossnagle said after Sunday’s game he thought the lack of a midweek game would benefit the team.
“We’re playing on the road prior to exams. I mean, academically, I just think our team needs a breather,” Schlossnagle said. ...
