Does this feel as if a more muted Baylor weekend to anyone? None of my friends are really talking about it and the buzz around the metromess seems to be little to none….but maybe I’m just not in the right spots or conversations.

I’ve been meh on this team for a while. I watch, and I support, but when we just can’t find a way to get out of our own way, it’s frustrating. Our men’s sports are meh.

Volleyball and women’s basketball are more inspiring/exciting.

I've never thought anyone but TCU or Baylor folks cared. It doesn't carry much cachet outside of our circles. And this year I think we TCU folks have lost our fire for the season since we all know we're pretty doomed from here on out.

I agree, but I think it’s like “All Quiet on the Western Front”.
Neither fan base is chirping much because they don’t have a great deal of faith/trust that their team will win, or is even any good.…but on the field it’s all out war.
This game is actually important. It looks like an inflection point, as the winner has a decent shot at 8+ wins, a nice bowl, and good Texas recruiting momentum. The loser could be in trouble, fighting for bowl eligibility with an uncertain future, and maybe even big changes in their coaching roster.

I’ll head over once the thunderstorms and hail and mini-armageddon passes. I’m fairly certain our game will go into a delay. What’s the lightning strike radius necessary to stop a game?
