And isn't the other McCoy on his team?

Yep. But I remember a quote from him back during Super Bowl week when he said that if he hadn't gone to Texas, he would've liked to come to TCU... and had a few complimentary things to say about the school and program after that. So we'll just go ahead and say he's a Frog fan too. haha

That's the Tank, baby! - Best TCU game comment ever.

I think Tank was being nice. He could have said TCU will make Bevo it's biatch for the next decade. From some of his later posts, it sounds like he is being lambasted by a bunch of Burnt Orange WalMart fans

I love Tank (no homo), but does it bug anyone else when people who represent TCU use terrible grammar in interviews and Twitter, etc...?

I know Tank's got a little Sweeny thug in him, but clean it up a little when you put those tweets out there

Not a bit. Doesn't bother me one bit.

I am always mistyping on my iPhone or it autocorrects it to some interesting word. I figure I am not the only one.

Auto correct doesn't change correct sentences to double negatives.

If you've heard Tank speak, that's just how he talks. I get that, whatever.... but when you're typing out a public tweet or doing a media interview, clean it up a little.

Not a huge deal by any means, it just has always kind of bugged me. When I see a UT or A&M player doing that, I automatically think, "look at that idiot Longhorn/Aggie, they let anybody in that school if they can tackle or catch.... bunch of thugs"

Then again, I generally associate poor grammar with dumbarseness.... Part of the reason I think roddog is half retarded

You serious, Clark?

Then you have to have noticed the standards for grammar and spelling are a bit relaxed.....slang is pretty much the norm for this forum, why should it be any different for tweets?

Like I said, no offense, but no.....Tanks' grammar doesn't bother me whether in an interview or a tweet. Tank has done enough for TCU on the football field he's earned the right to speak however he wants.

BTW, not quite sure what you meant by Sweeny thug.

I'm not sure what posters' grammar on Killer Frogs has to do with anything in this debate. We're all anonymous/random people that no one cares about, as opposed to TCU representatives. That being said, I always try to use decent grammar and sentence structure when I type or speak, because it affects how people view you.

Look, I love Tank, he's one of my all-time favorite athletes.... I followed his recruitment and watched his HS highlights and all-star game, and was confident he was gonna be a great one. I'm not talking about using a comma incorrectly or anything, I'm talking about.... "I love how Texas fans don't give no respect to TCU after we beat them, when Texas hasn't done nothin since McCoy left".

It makes him sound uneducated. If he just changes "no" to "any" and "nothing" to "anything", it makes peoples' impression of him go up about 20 IQ points.

And like I said, it's not a huge deal and didn't mean to get into a debate about it, it just kind of annoys me a little.

BTW, not quite sure what you meant by Sweeny thug.

It was said mostly in jest, but have you heard Tank speak?
