I brought up the Kansas game and all he had to say was: "We won because y'all wanted us to. It was the first time we felt like the fans had our back, win or lose. I've never felt anything like that."
Somebody told me yesterday that in the beginning of the 2nd half they made an announcement in the library that we were beating Kansas and people should go watch. Pretty funny.

Whatever happens from here on no one can ever take that away from those players. It was really cool just seeing how much that game really meant to him, he talked about it like it was a story he'd tell his grand kids.
I have fond memories of the Killer Frog days too, that was a blast!Good stuff!
Back in the early 80's when I was at TCU...I fondly remember going to all of the home basketball games during the "KillerFrogs" days. We were not any good in football and basketball was the only sport TCU could hold their own with the rest of the SWC. We had a loud and loyal group of students that regularly showed up and made our presence felt. And like the player said...it does make a big difference when the players respond to that support.
Maybe we shouldn't hate the "overrated" chant so much.
Good stuff!

I plan on going to rest of the home games this year. Who's with me?
What did that quote have to do with the overrated chant?
Good stuff!
